Group Lesson Design: This lesson is an ELA lesson that focuses on Rosa Parks and the impacts she had on the civil rights movement. The student objective is to understand Rosa Parks' importance to the civil rights movement and illustrating their understanding by creating a time-line to explain the impacts she had, while utilizing factual evidence.
Lesson Plan ELA-Autobiographical Photographic Poem- This lesson is an ELA lesson that focuses on 11th grade standards. The student objective is to create an autobigoraphical photographic poem by utilizing a variety of writing strategies that will increase the fluency of their writing. In this lesson students have time to collaborate, seek and receive feedback from teacher and peers, and utilize digital platforms to publish, edit, and share their works.

Lesson Plan- ELA- Socratic Discussion with Inner-Circle/Outer-circle - the student objective is to use critical thinking skills and reading skills to foster socratic discussions, utilizing and inner circle/outer circle strategy. Students in the inner circle will be disucssing what they have inferred from the two texts they were given, while demonstrating understanding and meaning by utilizing evidence from the text. Outer cirlce students will be having a discussion in Backroom Channel Chat, where they will also be discussing their work while adding on to the discussion that is happening in the enter circle. The teacher will utilize Classroom Dojo to assign points for evidence of the work done, as well as for positive, effective, and driven discussions.
